May I once again stress on the importance of the holiday practices. The SYF is drawing near, I really hope that everyone can take practices seriously. According to the attendance records, I have noticed that some members have missed several practices in the holidays. I would like to urge fellow members to pay special attention to these members who have constantly skipped practices, and encourage them to attend. The teachers-in-charge and instructors already have a lot to handle in this crucial period and need your help. Your cooperation is very much appreciated.
Thanks.

Go For Gold!
Hi Orchestra Talents!
I would prefer to refer you as orchestra talents, firstly because I understand that you guys have put in much effort over the years to turn your interest and passion in music into an art and skill that you can now be proud of.
Secondly, it sounds better and more professional. :p
Hope you have enjoyed the video presentation and talk by Mr Albert earlier on. Keep your goals in sight, and constantly remind yourselves of what we want to achieve for SYF 2008. I really hope that everyone will work hard towards getting a GOLD for the competition. I understand that the process may be tough but do press on, for I am certain that you guys will enjoy the results of your hard work, and eventually become better people.
Perseverance will definitely pay off. Continuous hard work over time will tell. You will taste the sweetness of the fruit only after going through the hardship of planting and nurturing the tree.
"Life will not give you a gold medal for doing nothing."
Bear this in mind always. Your instructors, teachers-in-charge, and your fellow orchestra talents will be by your side throughout the journey.
Work hard, everyone!
